We had a great time and caught a bunch of fish considering the conditions were pretty bad on the water. Weather was a bit cold and water was very rough but that was to be expected for this time of the year. Captain Jason and First Mate Darryl were great. Jason was pretty upfront about the fact that the conditions were going to be bad but we would see what we could do. We stayed optimistic and within no time they put us on the fish. Lots of action and got some keepers. Darryl was super friendly and easy to get along with. He also did a great job at fixing all our bird nests and keeping us baited up. I would definitely recommend going fishing with them on the Cyclone.
Pro tip – take your Dramamine the night before and the morning of.

Spent four hours on the Island Girl. Holden and Cam were great mates to fish with. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful during our time. Enjoyed reeling in multiple different kinds of fish.
Holden was able to fix a minor mechanical issue while we bottom fished with Cam and then we were on our way again. Would definitely recommend to others to spend a day fishing with Calabash Fishing Fleet.

Highly recommend taking this charter. Captain Chris and First Mate Tripp will definitely get you some fish on the line. It’s up to you whether or not you get them in the boat. Tripp does an outstanding job on taking care of the fisherman/fisherladies on the boat. He makes sure you have what you need to catch fish. I have taken this charter for eight to ten years now and have never been disappointed with the results. Everyone including the office staff go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy the experience on and off the boat. Keep up the good work Miss Calabash and see you next time.

The Calabash fishing fleet is awesome. You couldn’t ask for a better group of people. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do their best to ensure their customers have a great time. My wife and I have been on the half day trips and full day, and both are a lot of fun. My best advice for you is when booking, check the weather ahead of time. Good weather and calm sea….the better the fishing. That being said, the captain of whichever boat you’re on will get you on the fish.

Signed up for the private fishing charter with eleven people including kids. Great experience. Captain Jordan and his deck hand Holton were amazing. They were quick to help us all and were extremely patient and attentive to the kids on board. Great knowledge of all the fish we were bringing in. Everyone on board had plenty of opportunity to fish, and we were able to catch loads of fish. Can’t wait to do this again!

Daryll and Jordan on the Cyclone were excellent!!! They were right there helping unload the fish off the lines as soon as we pulled them in and it seemed like we caught one just about every time the line hit the bottom.
